Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of bonsai (“we”, “us”), a feed of brand opportunities that lets you pitch a brand in one tap. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

1. The service

bonsai surfaces brand opportunities tracked by a third-party feed and lets you compose and send a pitch email to a brand with one tap. If you sign in with Google, we can also file a copy of that pitch into your own Gmail Sent folder.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You must be old enough, under the laws of your country, to enter into a binding agreement to use this service.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use bonsai to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or pitches unrelated to a genuine collaboration inquiry
  • Impersonate another person or brand, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone
  • Send unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive content through the pitch feature
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service or the brand feed it displays

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Pitch emails and brand data

Brand contact addresses are sourced from a third-party brand-tracking feed and are not verified deliverable or up-to-date — pitches can bounce or reach the wrong inbox. We don’t control, endorse, or guarantee a response from any brand shown in the feed, and we’re not a party to any collaboration that results from a pitch you send.

5. No warranty

bonsai is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the brand feed is complete, accurate, or continuously available, or that any pitch you send will be delivered or answered.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bonsai is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including a bounced or misdirected pitch email.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use bonsai after a change means you accept the updated terms.
